Sam Coleman

Sam Coleman is an undergraduate junior pursuing a bachelors in Political Science, with a concentration in International Relations. He is minoring in the Quechua language and has a particular interest in Latin American politics and environmental policy. Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, in high school Sam volunteered with the Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission working on mining policy and water quality issues. Additionally, Sam worked as an intern with the Turks and Caicos Department of Environmental and Coastal Resources researching illegal conch fishing and coral bleaching.

In his free time, Sam enjoys bike trips, swimming and reading. He is very pleased to be working at the Institute of Politics, and hopes to help make a positive impact on the Greater Pittsburgh area community.
