If you are a public high school or career and technical school in Allegheny, Fayette, Greene, Washington, or Westmoreland counties, you are invited to apply for one of three $40,000 grants to expand access to dual enrollment in your school. In return, districts will work with the Institute of Politics and researchers from the University of Pittsburgh LRDC over the course of the next year to collect data on promising practices in the expansion and delivery of successful dual enrollment programming. This project is expected to contribute to the knowledge around practices that support access to and equity in dual enrollment programming in a variety of school settings. The final report for the project is expected in December 2024.
