Halen Sav

Halen graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a dual degree in Political Science and Economics. Since then, she has held a variety of positions within the PA House of Representatives, working as a research analyst, then committee staff for the House Veterans Affairs and Emergency Preparedness Committee, and finally with the Allegheny County delegation of House members. 

She brings expertise in an array of issues, including health and human services, insurance, local government, and municipal services, and she recently helped to establish the bipartisan, bicameral Crime Prevention Caucus within the legislature. We are delighted to add Halen to the Institute’s policy team, led by Briana Mihok, who was recently promoted to the position of Assistant Director of Policy Programs.
