Hunger - The Gateway to Other Ills

On November 9, 2017 the Institute partnered with The Pittsburgh Foundation and the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank to present "Hunger - The Gateway to Other Ills."

A continuation of the Institute's previous work on poverty, this program explored the data relating to food insecurity from a national perspective, examined state efforts to increase access to food among vulnerable populations, and discussed ocal impacts of hunger in the areas of workforce, education, and health.
